Umunde Marketplace is an online platform that connects customers with independent African designers and artists. We act as a facilitator and are not the manufacturer of the products sold unless otherwise stated.

2. Designer Responsibility

Designers are responsible for:

• The quality, accuracy, and authenticity of their products
  
• Setting prices and providing accurate product descriptions
  
• Selecting a charity within their country of origin

3. Orders & Payments

• All prices are listed in the applicable currency at checkout
  
• Payments are processed through secure third-party payment providers
  
• Umunde Marketplace reserves the right to cancel orders in cases of fraud or misuse

4. Shipping & Delivery

• Worldwide shipping is offered where available
  
• Delivery times may vary depending on destination and designer location
  
• Umunde Marketplace is not responsible for delays caused by customs, carriers, or force majeure events

5. Donations

For every completed purchase, one dollar (USD or equivalent) will be donated to a charity chosen by the designer in their country of origin. Donations are made periodically and transparently as part of Umunde’s social impact commitment.

6. Returns & Refunds

Return and refund policies may vary by designer. Customers should review the return policy listed on each product page before purchasing.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on Umunde Marketplace, including logos, text, images, and designs, is the intellectual property of Umoja Marketplace or the respective designers and may not be used without permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

Umunde Marketplace is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the platform or products purchased through it.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
